Salary -£100,000-£130,000 per annum plus package.

A leading agency with a focus on the ecommerce sector are looking for an Ecommerce Strategy Directory to join their extremely successful and fast-growing team. The agency deliver a large scale end to end solution for large retail focused clients with dependant digital-led growth both online and instore, and are looking for an experience Ecommerce Strategy Director to join their senior team. This is essentially an Ecommerce Strategist who is able to lead strategic conversations with both internal clients and internal stakeholders to create a case for recommendation, which will take into consideration customer, business, brand and market opportunity as well as platform).

Key Experience:

  • This role should be able to develop strategies and recommendations and facilitate the process of validating these with internal and client stakeholders
  • This role should have a good understanding of digital products and services from a customer and platform perspective and understand how to build and prioritise backlogs and roadmaps
  • This role should be interested in and knowledgeable about digital, commerce and product trends and be able to apply this insight to recommendations
  • The candidate should be a team player who can link strategy closely with execution and work closely with the team and client stakeholder

Skills overview:

  • Building strategic frameworks, propositions and recommendations
  • Contributing to pitches and new business (narrative and strategy, providing a basis for recommendations)
  • Designing and holding internal and client workshops
  • Influencing and briefing backlog and roadmap creation and prioritisation
  • Briefing and using analytics to drive recommendations and briefs
  • Briefing UX and UI teams to bring ideas, features and proposals to life
  • Working with engineers to explore technical solutions and assess feasibility
  • Demonstrating how to make roadmaps viable by building commercial arguments, high-level business cases and measurement frameworks
  • Briefing, organising and contributing to primary and secondary research
  • An understanding of digital marketing, media and acquisition (but not a performance practitioner)
